Specialty: It is a herb that grows on the ground. It is found in four types, white, red, blue, and light green, depending on the color of the flowers. However, white and red are common.
Uses:
- The leaves and young stems of the plant are edible in addition to being medicinal.
- Since the plant contains a lot of potassium nitrate, it is used as a medicine for increased urination and urinary tract diseases.
- The plant is also used for fever, fluid in the body, bile, heart disease, and cough.
- White Punarnava is very effective in diseases related to paralysis.
- Decoction of the plant is also beneficial for insomnia, rheumatism, and eye diseases.
