Habitat: Grows as a weed in deserted areas and wastelands.
Habit: Arohi
Speciality: Medicinal plant, flowers bloom in season and wither in the afternoon.
Use:
- This plant is included in the Dashapushpa in Ayurveda.
- Excellent for infertility and uterine diseases in women. Thiruthali is a medicine for infertility and gallstone diseases.
- The root, if taken with milk, will increase strength and mineral content.
- It is an antidote for arsenic poisoning.
- It relieves skin diseases and diarrhea.
